Quickly make changes with our expanded undo / redo capabilities.
The undo and redo buttons are still at the top of the Designer, next to the save button. Like the save button, they will turn blue when there’s something available to undo or redo. You can utilize undo and redo in both the Form and Workflow Designers.
You can now undo or redo after making any changes to your form or workflow in the Designer, including the following actions:
Create copies of individual components or groups of components in sections with one click.
The new Duplicate button is located in the Quick Edit Menu (Get to the Quick Edit Menu by clicking on a component while holding down the SHIFT key).
Use the Duplicate button to create an exact copy of any component, including any calculations and styling. You can duplicate a section or array component and all child components will duplicate as well.
If you duplicate a section and child components have calculations that reference other fields, the calculations will still refer to the original fields not the cloned fields.
A more user-friendly and foolproof delete process.
The Delete button in the Quick Edit Menu is now one-click to delete components from your form (It was previously a two-step process). The Delete button is also now available in the Field section of the right-hand Property Pane.
Additionally, the Quick Edit Menu will now show you what other components on your form are referencing this component in calculations in the “Also Using” expandable list.
When you click to the delete button, the Designer will automatically maintain the integrity of your form by preventing you from deleting the component if it’s currently being utilized by another component. When you attempt to delete, you’ll see a dialog window listing the component’s references which prevent it from being deleted. You can remove these references and then delete the component from your form.
In addition, you can now use the undo feature to undo deletions.
For any of the workflow Actions, you can now intuitively use calculations to filter when the action should run.
Below are the four workflow Actions tabs for reference:
Click the sigma icon located to the left of the 'Filter' row to configure a calculation specifying when this action should be executed during the transition. Just like other calculations in your form, you can leverage form and transition dialog values as needed to ensure the action only occurs when necessary.
All buttons are now case sensitive, including workflow transition buttons and process buttons.
Previously, if you input a button label in the Designer as 'Create,' 'create,' or 'CREATE,' the Inbox would display them in all capital letters, like 'CREATE.' With the latest enhancement, the button labels in the Inbox will now reflect your exact input in the Designer.
